Accommodation

There are any number of hotels to choose in Wellington, but below you can find some recommendations based on rates and proximity to the conference site. It is important to note that Victoria University is located up in Kelburn, so there are hills to climb if you’re feeling fit. However, there are also buses that service the campus from town, and if you’re looking at hotels near Lambton Quay or near the railway station, there is the city’s legendary cable car. You may also find competitive rates through various online accommodation services (Expedia.co.nz, etc.). Cuba Street/Mall is one of Wellington’s main arteries, close to bars and interesting street life. Lambton Quay is close to the Beehive (Parliament Buildings) and the railway station (where you can catch a bus up to campus).
